How Blurred, How Indistinct,

…from Smullyan’s “The Tao is Silent”…
There is something blurred and indistict
Antedating heaven and earth
How indistinct! How blurred!
Yet within it are forms.
How dim! How confused!
Quiet, though ever functioning.
It does nothing, yet through it all things are done.

Texas wildflower: Sage

Creamy Purple

Love that creamy purple bokeh!!!

So many layers

Have you every taken a rose apart piece by piece, petal by petal?  Its fascinating!

just a simple Rose …haiku

 just a simple Rose
can mean all or nothing
still simply a Rose.

Photography Notes: f/5.6, 1/500 per second, 70mm focal length, Aperture levels, sharpening and vignetting added.

Pistil & Stamen

Yin – Yang, Light – Dark, Male – Female… coming together to recreate.
NOTE: I only take pictures of flowers in the their natural setting, never cutting and then posing in the studio.

Nearly twenty years ago I sat alone in my basement home office realizing I made choices that I would spend a lifetime correcting; but happily so.  I sat there with the realization that I turned my back on my natural talents and made life decisions that were safe and in the best fiscal interest of [...]
